CAD Draughtsman, north east, £15 p/hour
Our client seeks a CAD Draughtman to carry out CAD work on AutoCAD which will involve updates of existing electrical control panels and other key drawings. To work within an existing team of experienced Verification & CAD Engineers
Scope:
Information must be relayed accurately by CAD persons whilst modifying and issuing controlled information in accordance with Drawing Procedures.
This process must be carried out with due care and attention – attention to detail is crucial
Desirables
Persons with good all round engineering (electrical or mechanical) knowledge
Experience in the use of computers. (Spreadsheets etc.)
It is a requirement to have Auto CAD skills.
Flexible with regards to working hours – down time on plant is advantageous to verification work and this can sometimes be at short notice and not necessarily within standard working hours.
Essentials
Safety awareness is essential.
The person should be competent and confident in dealing safely in installations & plant.
Awareness of ‘good working practice’ is essential and practical knowledge of process plant would be beneficial.
Qualifications minimum ONC or City & Guilds, Higher would be advantageous
